There are only three more weeks to make a donation toward our Matching Gift Program. Each donation up until the end of January will be matched by a group of generous donors dollar for dollar up to $66,000. This would result in a total of $132,000 to support Twelveacres' mission of providing Christian Science care, education and healing for our residents. What enables Twelveacres to provide care, housing and education for our residents comes from three sources. The California Department of Developmental Services partially funds each resident directly. Even at the high level of care and training we provide, this covers only 40% of our program costs. We receive another 5% in grants from foundations and corporations. And the remaining 55% comes from the generosity of individuals such as yourself via donations, annual gifts and planned giving. We are truly grateful for your support which helps us greatly in meeting the needs of our residents and supporting the mission of Twelveacres.
