AST Apartment


Time spent with the AST House Manager learning cooking skills has paid off. The residents' independence in the kitchen is a tremendous step forward and a major boost to their self-esteem. The Manager has also introduced them to many interesting foods they might not have chosen to try without guidance, such as wasabe, many herbs, spices, and international cuisine. The residents make their own lunches for work and enjoy concocting desserts which they sometimes make for the office staff.


The AST apartment residents enjoy their full, happy, and fruitful lives. From workdays, to Saturday fun, to Sunday church services, they approach everything with joy and enthusiasm. They've won accolades at work for her friendliness, promptness and dedication. And, with the help of the House Manager the gentlemen have written a children’s book. Two residents recently won medals in a regional golf championship sponsored by the Special Olympics. These delightful people are inspiring examples of the principles of Christian Science at work.
